New York Times Century of Meat Table

Really excellent graphic from The New York Times which is a table that charts the consumption of meat from 1910 to 2008 in the United States. The good news is that the industry’s advertising campaigns (e.g., “Where’s the beef?” and “The Other White Meat”) appear to be relatively ineffective. Nevertheless, consumption of various types of meat listed either increases (some significantly: chicken) or stays essentially at the same level.
