Stirring the peanut butter before spreading provides excitement and anticipation. Here’s the Grumpy Vegan’s latest kitchen gadget: Grandpa Witmer’s Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Mixer. First admired on a recent trip to the US, the Grumpy Vegan had to have one. So, one was brought back and with great disappointment discovered that EU jam jars are different in size from US ones. So, a wonderful friend sent from the US a jar of peanut butter just so that Grandpa Witmer’s churn could be, well, be stirred. Of course, the Grumpy Vegan peanut butter is still bought in large plastic tubs and the peanut butter still has to be stirred. But from now on stirred peanut butter will be spooned into the US jar just so that the Grumpy Vegan can demonstrate Grandpa Witmer’s Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Mixer to guests and visitors.
