PETA in DC

PETA's new Washington, DC building.
Good to see in these times of the international crisis in capitalism that someone is in a position to buy property. But weren’t we told that when PETA left Washington, DC for Norfolk, VA, that it was, in part, because they didn’t need to be in the nation’s capital because they don’t do anything for animals on Capital Hill? So why reportedly spend $2.76 million on a building in one of the city’s most expensive neighborhoods? It’ll be good to see PETA involved in the legislative procees, particularly if they can leverage their effectiveness in undercover investigations into success in the courts and the passage of legislation.
