A Vegan Goes to Brighton

Brighton is often touted as the vegetarian capital of Europe. The Grumpy Vegan couldn’t comment on that but it’s nearly 30 years since he lived in Brighton for about 18 months. So, it’s always interesting to visit.

I was tangentially involved with Infinity Foods, the whole foods cooperative. It’s good to see the coop grow and thrive. A new addition is their cafe. Here’s a photo taken with my Beloved Blackberry of my “Bangers and Mash.” It was delicious. Pure comfort food. Tasty.

And vegan to boot.

Talking of feet, I also invested in a new pair at Vegetarian Shoes. I bought a pair of black Spider XT (Black Hemp). Comfy.
