Sue Coe's Sheep of FoolsAlright. The Grumpy Vegan admits to being a fan of Sue Coe, the British-born artist now living in New York. I first became familiar with her work in the early 1980s. I recall seeing published her work on Bobby Sands, the IRA hunger striker who died in prison in 1981, and her series on South Africa during the apartheid era. We did not get to meet until much later. Anyway, her work is important not only for its content but also for its execution. Kyle MacMillan writes well about Sue’s work. Also, important to visit the excellent Graphic Witness.
