The Grumpy Vegan in a former life was the founding president of the Canton Community Association in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. One of CCA’s projects was the dog park and a major fundraising event we instituted was the annual Howl-A-Ween Fancy Dress Dog Competition, which is recognized as #1 Wacky Event for October by the AOL Local City Guide’s monthly Strange, Weird, and Wacky Events Listing!
