Shopkeepers in Pirate Week in the Old TownWe’re coming to the end of this year’s Old Town Carnival Week. We’ve had pram races (dressing up and drinking and pushing prams), free beach concerts, Old Town Crier competitions, guided walks and garden open days. Today is Pirate Day in the Old Town, which included a procession of children, old children and fantasists dressing up as pirates. Tonight, in The Stag, there’s an evening of pirate songs and sea shanties.
