The Grumpy Vegan previously commented about how there’s something truly awful about the human animal when we name an elephant “Osama bin Laden” because he kills people. Surely, there’s sorrow for the loss of human life, which may well have been caused because human enterprise impacts the place where wild animals live. But does there have to be such relish in naming the elephant after a terrorist and celebrating the “20 bullets to silence him”?
