We oppose all forms of factory farming and the fur trade. Greens campaign for an immediate ban on all sports that involve cruelty to animals and the ending of animal experimentation.
Greens will champion greater action to stop all forms of animal abuse and suffering in London, including:
A GLA Animal Protection Strategy for implementation across the capital.
Work to get an animal protection officer in every borough.
Produce comprehensive information on vegetarian and vegan diets.
Promote a cruelty-free economy and cruelty-free practices including cruelty-free rules on GLA purchasing.
Action to end London’s fur trade.
