This is me and Pauline Houliaras, CCA’s first vice president.
The first years of the Canton Community Association would not have been as successful as they were without Pauline’s enthusiastic and energetic involvement.
We didn’t know each other before we got involved with the CCA but we quickly became fast friends. She was the butt of my continual leg-pulling, including appointing myself as the chair of the “Pauline Houliaras Boy Friend Approval Committee”! I always had her best interests at heart, however. My standards were very high!
Her time is now devoted to her rescued pit bull, Raven. And, with her business partner Sue Loeffler, they are the Dog House Girls, a dog walking service in Canton, Fells Point and southeast Baltimore.
Pauline and Sue are completely trustworthy and we frequently relied upon them to look after Emmy whenever we were away.
