But weren&#8217;t we told that when PETA left Washington, DC for Norfolk, VA, that it was, in part, because they didn&#8217;t need to be in the nation&#8217;s capital because they don&#8217;t do anything for animals on Capital Hill? So why reportedly spend &#036;2.76 million on a building in one of the city&#8217;s most expensive neighborhoods? It&#8217;ll be good to see PETA involved in the legislative procees, particularly if they can leverage their effectiveness in <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.peta.org\/archives\/2009\/02\/aviagen_update.php\">undercover investigations<\/a> into success in the courts and the passage of legislation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good to see in these times of the international crisis in capitalism that someone is in a position to buy property.
