The 68-year-old elephant, Y Trut, had won many prizes at local races and strength competitions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vietnamnews.vnagency.com.vn\/showarticle.php?num=01SOC300508\">Famous Dak Lak elephant dies<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Who do we have to thank for killing this majestic animal? Local farmers? Industrialists who created the poison? The Grumpy Vegan couldn&#8217;t begin to imagine how much insecticide is sprayed onto the crops that it&#8217;s enough to kill an elephant 7.4 tonnes in weight and 3.4m in height.
