The main house was, of course, lovely. Well, they all are. What&#8217;s not to like? It was the estate, however, that was particularly beautiful to explore.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-3434 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/grumpyvegan.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/15\/polesden-lacey\/img_2809\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/grumpyvegan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_2809-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-3433\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-3433'>\n\t\t\t\tThis isn&#8217;t the main house. It&#8217;s just the home for one of the most important &#8220;help&#8221; (i.e., Head Gardener).\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/grumpyvegan.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/15\/polesden-lacey\/img_2812\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/grumpyvegan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_2812-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-3432\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-3432'>\n\t\t\t\tThe grounds at Polesden Lacey are all lovely but this woodland garden was particularly beautiful for its simplicity.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/grumpyvegan.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/15\/polesden-lacey\/img_2785\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/grumpyvegan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_2785-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-3431\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-3431'>\n\t\t\t\tThe dogs cemetery was closer to the main house than the cemetery for its human inhabitants.
