Now the US-based monthly political magazine <em>The Atlantic<\/em> is featuring a <a href=\"http:\/\/food.theatlantic.com\/vegetarianismism\/the-fervor-of-the-vegan.php\">blog<\/a> by one of its writers about being a vegetarian. There&#8217;s the usual confusion and muddle-headed thinking but at least there&#8217;s some honesty from the vegetarian writer in a piece called &#8220;The Fervor of the Vegan.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Facing this basic contradiction of vegetarianism made me recognize a weight I&#8217;d been carrying ever since I gave up meat: I resent vegans.
